about

“Very emotive and powerful pieces of music...I liked this a lot. Tasty - very tasty indeed.” - Heathen Harvest

“Vision-inducing soundscapes and aural compositions
that brought to mind cold walks through leafless forests
and abandoned villages. I think this far surpasses his previous releases.” - Feast of Hate and Fear

Of The First Light marks the end of the “short” tracks for the music of Sky Burial. Of The First Light is Sky Burial’s most eclectic release to date, with tracks vacillating between angelic drones and industrial noise. Of The First Light drips with the energy and influence of the Wampanoag tribe - the ‘people of the first light’ were the indigenous tribe of Cape Cod, home of Sky Burial's Michael Page. Lens Records is proud to release five out-of-print and hard-to-find catalog titles from Sky Burial. Each title contains complete digital scans of all the original artwork and packaging from the releases.
